The exhibition DESIGN FOR GOOD demonstrates how design can have a powerful, positive impact on society and the environment. It focuses on an often overlooked area – design in the service of the common good. In addition, designforum Wien will become a lively work and creative space for the duration of the exhibition: Austrian and international designers will develop pro bono projects for social and ecological initiatives, associations, and organizations on site. DESIGN FOR GOOD was conceived and realized by Studio FREUDE under the direction of Simon Pointner and Freude Agency – and implemented in close collaboration with Alexander Ahmad and AREA. Together, they send a strong signal about how creative thinking can actively contribute to social change.
