The Berlin-based design collective LABINAC presents experimental artistic works by its members Maria Thereza Alves, Jimmie Durham, Rosaria Iazzetta, Jone Kvie, Philipp Modersohn, Alessandro Piromallo, and Víctor Santamarina. On display are reinterpretations of Thonet chairs, tables inspired by Mediterranean pine trees, lamps that pay homage to the topiary forms of garden culture, and chandeliers made of stainless steel, Murano glass, and LED lights. LABINAC was founded in 2018 by artists Maria Thereza Alves and Jimmie Durham together with Kai-Morten Vollmer with the aim of designing and manufacturing objects from an artist’s perspective. The exhibition can be viewed around the clock in the gallery’s shop window and can be visited by prior appointment.
