For the fourth time, IKEA is the general partner of the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK – and is causing a stir this year with a very special collaboration. At the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK 2025, IKEA is presenting a kitchen inspired by the historic Frankfurt kitchen, together with designer Laura Karasinski. The installation combines history and modern democratic design – with a focus on form, function, quality, sustainability, and affordability. Karasinski builds a bridge between feminist heritage and contemporary design understanding. The kitchen shows how inclusive and socially relevant IKEA products are.
