TEAM TOUR: PASSIONSWEGE
VIENNA DESIGN WEEK
For the past 15 years, the Passionswege have offered festival visitors passionate tours through the studios, workshops and factories of former suppliers to the imperial court, with whom the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK realizes projects in cooperation with European designers. This year, for many reasons, we are offering a scaled-down version of the Passionswege: a project by the Swiss artist Daniela Schönbächler at J. & L. Lobmeyr combined with an anniversary exhibition in the Festival Headquarters, featuring projects from previous years – designed by Klemens Schillinger (also an “alumnus” of the Passionswege) and Eldine Heep. Lilli Hollein, who has curated the project for 15 years, and Gabriel Roland, who has been co-curator for some time, guide visitors through the exhibition and to J. & L. Lobmeyr, where it is possible to see both this year’s projects and several from previous years.
