Opening Party Klima Biennale Wien mir Beitrag der VIENNA DESIGN WEEK
The evening begins with a special moment: the ceremonial presentation of the Declaration for the Citizen Danube, accompanied by striking visuals that bring the manifesto to life. After that, the night belongs to the dance floor.
At the discursive core of the evening, Katja Schechtner and Alex Putzer speak about the rights of urban nature – both globally and right on our doorstep: How could the Danube become a citizen and resident of the city of Vienna? As a bearer of rights, it would symbolically gain a voice in questions of urban development – and thus a new role in the urban fabric. Vincent Wagner (in collaboration with the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK) translates this manifesto into visuals and projects it directly on site.
The evening then flows into a collective celebration: BC-A (Barbara Alt) and Anna Ullrich take over the night with their DJ sets, inviting everyone to dance and celebrate. An energetic and inspiring opening to the Klima Biennale Wien – everyone is welcome!
