Under the headings Working With Nature, Embracing Change and Collaborating with the Past and Present, works are shown in which traces of time, decay or memory are not considered deficiencies, but rather creative resources.

Festival recycling – the Banner Bag

For the fifth time, VIENNA DESIGN WEEK and Vandasye are presenting a limited edition design. In collaboration with Sebastian Leitinger (Glein), the construction fence tarpaulins from the Festival Centre 2024 have been turned into a small everyday bag. Each Banner Bag is unique, made in the EU from recycled materials – practical, robust and sustainable. Available exclusively at the festival headquarters.
