The festival starts in two weeks! 
The cat is out of the bag—the program for VIENNA DESIGN WEEK 2025 is online!
From September 26 to October 5, the 19th edition of one of Europe's most important design festivals will once again transform Vienna into a City Full of Design.
Around 200 events at over 40 locations will show how design can be conceived, experienced, and discussed in a variety of ways.

The program ranges from exhibitions, interventions, workshops, and tours to talks, highlighting the contribution design makes to our lives together. 40,000 visitors are expected, with free admission to most events.

CITY FULL OF DESIGN

New: The festival groups program items into zones – from the city center to the west of Vienna. In addition to young collectives, there are also the popular Passionswege installations, in which craft businesses and international designers work together.

TALKS & EXCHANGES

The talks are also a highlight: international voices from the design scene will be discussing topics in the MEETING SUITES by Bene. Participants include Dreamspaces, the thing magazine, b0ysfirm, and architect Sam Jacob. Topics range from memes and media to the question of how design makes history.

Things will also get exciting at honey & bunny with the Wiener Zeitung, which will conclude its democracy project with a public debate on October 3. And: World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026 will be there as a guest format.
