This was VIENNA DESIGN WEEK 2025!
For ten days, VIENNA DESIGN WEEK once again transformed Vienna into a City Full of Design. With over 120 program items, around 500 participants, and 50,000 visitors, Austria’s largest design festival showed just how vibrant, critical, and diverse design can be today.
After an eventful year, VIENNA DESIGN WEEK looks back with gratitude on a successful festival – and forward with curiosity to what’s to come. Because in 2026, we’ll be celebrating the 20th anniversary of VIENNA DESIGN WEEK.

No festival without strong partnerships: Once again this year, VIENNA DESIGN WEEK was able to rely on the steadfast support of its long-term partners – institutions, companies, and organizations that contribute to the festival conceptually, financially, and ideologically.
Alongside leading partners such as the Vienna Business Agency and the Vienna Tourist Board, our General Partners served as key pillars of the festival, making it possible to realize central program areas and curated formats. Through their commitment, design in Vienna was once again made visible, tangible, and socially relevant. Their contributions strengthened not only the local design scene but also the city’s international reputation as a vibrant platform for innovation and creativity. Special projects call for special partnerships: JP Immobilien for our Festival Headquarters, and Falstaff LIVING for the glamorous Design Awards. Our Supporting Partners also played a decisive role in the success of the festival through their specific expertise, infrastructure, and hands-on support. They helped turn ideas into reality and made possible the many events taking place all across the city. The festival would not be the same without our Hotel and Media Partners either.
