Alexandra Palla is an Austrian food activist, blogger, and cookbook author. On her RoughCutBlog, the Viennese writer has been publishing articles and recipes since April 2011. They keep to an uncomplicated kitchen philosophy and get by without using any out-of-the-way products.
At the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK 2014, Palla joined up with the design studio dottings to debut the cutting board RoughCutBoard in a former theater auditorium, the RoughCutHalle.
With VIENNA DESIGN COOK, Alexandra Pallain 2015 gave a new boost to the traditional inn Kronbergers’ in Oberlaa, where she combined the art of food with design. Artists and designers got together with cooks in changing constellations and acted as hosts at a lunch or supper.
