Arne Schneider
Arne Schneider, born in 1977 in Stuttgart, studied at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design. In 2005 he began working, as a freelancer from the outset, with associations with various offices and studios, such as the architectural office HG Merz, which focuses on museum and exhibition design. Schneider’s area of creative emphasis is in the printing branch, and he founded the ‘atelier für grafische lösungen’ [atelier for graphic solutions] in 2008. In the same year he and Clemens Hartmann received the ‘Förderpreis für junge Buchgestaltung’ [furtherance prize for young book designers] as authors of the design book RASTERBLOCK (Mainz: Verlag Hermann Schmidt). In 2009 he received the Certificate of Typographic Excellence and in 2010, an award with Anders Bergesen from the Type Directors Club New York for the design catalogue ME WE. Arne Schneider lives and works with heart and mind in Stuttgart.
