Bureau Fomo

Bureau Fomo (Hanna Gassner + Christoph Wimmer-Ruelland = BF) is a Vienna-based duo that designs, curates, and produces spaces and exhibitions in a transdisciplinary way. Working at the intersection of design, art, and architecture, Hanna Gassner and Christoph Wimmer-Ruelland engage in art direction, management, design research, and cultural production. They create spaces and experiences that profoundly connect objects with narratives, atmospheres, and encounters. Their practice is guided by the conviction that space is more than a physical location—it can be an experience, a meeting point, a memory, and a form of connection. By intertwining design, art, and craftsmanship, Bureau Fomo fosters relationships between people, materials, and their environments—always with an awareness of ecological, social, material, and cultural contexts.
