Bureau Fomo

Bureau Fomo (Hanna Gassner + Christoph Wimmer-Ruelland = BF) is a Vienna-based duo that designs, curates, and produces spaces and exhibitions using a transdisciplinary approach. Hanna Gassner and Christoph Wimmer-Ruelland operate at the intersection of design, art, and architecture, working in the fields of art direction, management, design research, and cultural production. In doing so, they create spaces and experiences that deeply connect objects with narratives, atmospheres, and encounters. Their work is driven by the conviction that space is more than just a physical location – it can be an experience, a meeting place, a memory, and a connection. By combining design, art, and craftsmanship, Bureau Fomo fosters relationships between people, materials, and their surroundings – always with an awareness of ecological, social, material, and cultural contexts.
