Christine Bertl

Christine Bertl has been a lecturer and researcher at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien since February 2026, focusing on the circular economy, green chemistry, and biodiversity. Together with Cucina Alchimia, she leads the research project on the cascading utilization of the invasive signal crayfish and supervises student research teams in the Ecotoxicology and Environmental Management program. She studied industrial chemistry at the TU Wien and innovation and technology management at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien. She is also actively involved in the Circular Economy Forum Austria and developed the science communication concept Circular Pizza as a co-creation workshop designed to foster a shift in thinking toward the circular economy.
