David Tavcar

David Tavcar, born in 1992 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, works in the sectors of textile, furniture, and product design. He studied industrial design in Vienna at the University of Applied Arts and Architecture in the Academy of Fine Arts. His objects and projects have been shown in exhibitions in Vienna, Ljubljana, Milan, Eindhoven, Beijing, and Zagreb. Traditional, high-quality handicraft forms the backdrop for his works, a context for him to interpret his designs using the media of contemporary conceptual settings and interpretation.
