Diego Faivre / Pierre Castignola

The designers Diego Faivre and Pierre Castignola, who were born in France and now live in Amsterdam, both graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2018. In a departure from their usual practice, in which one of them covers furniture in playdough (Faivre) while the other cuts up and reassembles plastic garden chairs (Castignola), their first joint project, THE INSTANT NOODLE REPAIR CAFÉ (VIENNA DESIGN WEEK 2022), is principally devoted to a joyful investigation of symbols and production methods.
