Since 1991, Potsdam University of Applied Sciences has offered a diverse range of degree programs in a personalized learning environment. A defining feature of the design department is the close integration of the degree programs in interface design, communication design, product design, and European media studies – a collaborative project with the University of Potsdam. This integration enables a unique, interdisciplinary educational profile with a strong focus on research and practical application, which is reflected annually in numerous projects, exhibitions, and collaborations. Close cooperation with industry and cultural institutions as well as a vibrant exchange between faculty, students, and international universities shape the learning environment.
