H.A.P.P.Y & 3007
The H.A.P.P.Y collective has been keeping Vienna on the move since 1993. It started as a House club, then grew rapidly into a creative pool with ever-changing protagonists and a huge output. Besides more than 400 “Happynings” the group surrounding mastermind Tomtschek (1968–2011) has produced features for television, musical and theatre, numerous films, and other performances. The TV series “S.O.A.P” was recorded before a live audience, subsequently the collective has created the social sculpture “Kuchenloch” (“Cakehole”). A wonderful H.A.P.P.Y book appeared for its 10th anniversary: “Haare am Po Po, Yeah!” (“Hairs on Bottom, Yeah!”) which won several design awards and was soon a sell-out. Time once more for a new opus. Yet again together with the Vienna design studio 3007, in 2013 they produced the classy, glossy volume “Hapsi Apsi Pipsi Popsi Yipsi!” (Czernin Verlag).
