imago was the name of the boat the players sailed through the Caribbean between the global financial crisis of 2008 and the end of the world that failed to happen in 2012. In 2016, on the day the US game show president was elected, it financed the board game “World Control” with the aid of a crowdfunding campaign. After that, imago.im was founded in Vienna as a multinational sole-proprietor business for the purpose of fulfilling the needs of the cosmopolitan Homo ludens with an affinity for analogue design. From its Vienna location, it got the ball rolling in Berlin, London, New York, Moscow, Tokyo, Jerusalem, and Tasmania. Its vision is clear: playfully exploring and changing the world.
