Itai Margula (Margula Architects)
Itai Margula, born in 1981, is an architect, designer, exhibition designer, and freelance curator with an office in Vienna. He and his team develop exhibition formats for museums, publications, and art books as well as individual design solutions and architectural projects. Itai Margula studied at the TU Wien, the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, and the Slade School of Fine Arts in London. He attracted widespread attention in 2018/2019 with his scenography for the exhibition “Spitzmaus Mummy in a Coffin and other Treasures” in the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna, which was curated by Wes Anderson, Juman Malouf, and Jasper Sharp, and was also to be seen at the Fondazione Prada in Milan in 2019/2020.
