Kulturhauptstadt Europas – Veszprém-Balaton 2023

The Hungarian city of Veszprém is notable for its favorable location and rich history. The range of cultural events that it offers in the fields of the visual arts, dance, and music is unique: The city plays host to more live music concerts than any other in Hungary and has been awarded the title UNESCO City of Music. Veszprém, together with the Bakony-Balaton region, will be a European Capital of Culture in 2023.
