Martin Breuer Bono studied at the Vienna University of Technology and the Royal College of Art in London. Besides the immediate question of design, central to his work is also the conceptual content, and thus also the technical aspects that are involved. “For me, working as a designer means presenting the essential character of things. In so doing I attempt to open up areas of significance. Then a connection as a person to the things can successfully be established. Things become objects. And naturally the central question is, ‘What sort of a world does this object lead to?’”
He has exhibited at shows and fairs in London, Vienna, Milan, Munich, Frankfurt, Budapest, and Seoul, receiving numerous international design and innovation prizes. Martin is married and the father of three sons. He lives and works in Graz.
