The Viennese fashion label was founded in 2010 by Lena Krampf and Ida Steixner. The name is based (among other things) on the verb to mesh, thus to network and knit together. The combination of opposites is a major aspect of their designing concept. The meshit collections mix urban street look with elegant classical forms, over-dimensional cuts with slim silhouettes and masculine and feminine attributes. The items are plain and practical, but also timeless and not at all commonplace. meshit places great value on fair production. The label collections include tops, trousers, skirts, dresses, jackets, and coats, most made of natural materials like cotton, linen, and viscose.
