Laura M. Pana (migrationlab, NL) and Dominik Nostitz (Verein08, AT) design and implement community projects in Vienna and all over Europe, involving communities in the shaping and re-inventing of our cities. Their focus is on transforming urban spaces in multicultural neighborhoods along with the migrant, refugee and host communities. In these jointly reshaped spaces, the three communities may re-connect and re-discover each other by means of culture and storytelling. Laura M. Pana and Dominik Nostitz address notions of mobility, space, belonging and intercultural communication. Their projects’ objective is a more vibrant and participatory city.
