Milan Mijalkovic (Hurra Hurra)
Milan Mijalkovic, architect, artist, author, and father, was born in Skopje in 1982 and has lived and worked in Vienna since 2001. He is involved in a range of cooperative projects in Vienna, Belgrade, and Skopje. Since 2018, he has taught negotiation skills at TU Wien and JKU – Johannes Kepler University Linz. In his work, Mijalkovic localizes manifest or latent contradictions, for which he then creates new perceptive spaces that are not limited to any particular medium – and can take such forms as a concrete sculpture, a location-specific photograph, an architecture book, a façade design, a drinking fountain, and a performative speech.
