Nieuwe Instituut

Nieuwe Instituut is the Netherlands' national museum and institute for architecture, design, and digital culture, located in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Our three disciplines represent the spaces, objects, and interactions that shape our world. Through exhibitions, events, research, and other national and international initiatives, we demonstrate how design ideas can contribute positively to urgent societal challenges. We aim not only to imagine a better future, but also to test and put it into practice.
