Nina Vastl Štefe

Nina Vastl Štefe is an architect and textile artist who lives and works in Škofja Loka, Slovenia. 
Since 2015, she has dedicated herself to textiles, designing and making unique items for the home as well as large narrative textile pieces. With the project “The Quilt of Life”, Štefe creates multifunctional textile pieces that are dedicated to the story of an individual, family or place. Through personal stories, she explores big human questions, identity, history, emotions and, above all, the things that connect us. Since 2018, she has also been actively participating in the Kreativnice collective, which is the core of the Contemporary Textile Center in Škofja Loka.
