OekoBusiness Wien

OekoBusiness Wien demonstrates that environmental protection and economic success are not mutually exclusive. The environmental service program of the City of Vienna – Environmental Protection supports businesses in Vienna in implementing and embedding sustainable measures that also make economic sense. The program is closely networked with similar initiatives around the world to promote knowledge transfer to city and regional administrations and to build a network of businesses that have recognized that economic success and sustainable business practices go hand in hand.

OekoBusiness Wien is a program of the City of Vienna – Environmental Protection (MA22), supported by the Climate and Energy Fund on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Climate and Environmental Protection, Regions, and Water Management (BMLUK). The funding granted under OekoBusiness Wien is provided by the City of Vienna and the Vienna Chamber of Commerce and is co-financed from the Climate and Energy Fund on the basis of a public-public partnership in accordance with § 10 (3) BVergG 2018.
