Regenerative Design Lab
Each semester, the Regenerative Design Lab brings together changing groups of students, faculty, and collaboration partners to experimentally explore regenerative futures from design and scientific perspectives. Collective processes and individual work give rise to contributions, positions, and questions regarding new roles, relationships, and spheres of action in design. In collaboration with partners from the fields of culture, research, and practice, these approaches are tested in concrete projects and made open to public discussion. The lab is based at the Institute of Design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and was founded in 2023 under the direction of Harald Gründl.
