The roots of Saint Charles lie in the historic pharmacy in Vienna's Gumpendorfer Straße, which is still the backbone of the brand today. The company is run by Alexander Ehrmann, a sixth-generation pharmacist, and Richard König. With a focus on Traditional European Medicine, Saint Charles emphasises the healing power of local nature and combines this knowledge with a modern lifestyle. In addition to registered conventional medicines, the pharmacy offers almost 400 of its own products relating to natural cosmetics, aromatherapy and herbal remedies. Opposite the pharmacy with its antique interior is a shop for natural cosmetics (Saint Charles Cosmothecary), a beauty studio (Saint Charles Hideaway), a small restaurant (Saint Charles Alimentary) and the Saint Charles Complementary, a holistic centre.
