Slovak Design Center

The Slovak Design Center is a state institution that has been systematically developing, documenting, and promoting design, applied arts, and architecture in Slovakia since 1991. Its collection efforts led to the founding of the Slovak Design Museum in 2011, today a key platform for preserving Slovakia’s design heritage. The Slovak Design Center also organizes the Slovak Design Award, the country’s top design prize, and publishes Designum, Slovakia’s only specialized design journal.
