Sophie Luger

Sophie Luger is an architect specializing in sound as a spatial medium and lives in Vienna. She explores the relationship between space and sound and views acoustics as an integral part of architectural design. Luger investigates how acoustic phenomena shape the way we perceive, inhabit, and imagine the built environment – through architecture, design, and experiments with materials. In addition to her work as a teaching assistant in architectural design at the Institute of Architecture at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, she also teaches the course Applied Acoustics and is dedicated to her practice in the field of interior design.
