The conceptual design duo studio kollektiv plus zwei comprises the product designers Stefanie Högl and Matthias Borowski. In line with their goals of making their products more tangible to the senses, revealing unexploited potential, and providing new perspectives for design processes and product perception, studio kollektiv plus zwei designs furniture and objects and creates frameworks for experiments. The foundation of every design process is provided by the unique character of the material involved. The works of studio kollektiv plus zwei have been included in numerous international exhibitions, at the Biennale Internationale Design in Saint-Etienne, Denmark’s Trapholt, the MoMA – Museum of Modern Art, Cooper Hewitt, and the Smithsonian Design Museum.
