Ton manually bends its furniture in the same workshops where this unique technology has been in use since 1861: In its factory in Bystřice pod Hostýnem in the Czech Republic, which originally belonged to the Thonet family. The Czech firm strives to refine the technology of making furniture out of bent wood and imbues it with the ideas of contemporary designers. Tables and chairs combine quality, innovative shapes, and the legacy of a site that for generations has learned to “understand” wood.
