World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026 (WDC 2026)

Every two years, the World Design Organization awards the title of World Design Capital (WDC) to a city or region. For 2026, the award went to the Frankfurt Rhine-Main region. What can design achieve – for society, for our coexistence, for democracy? The World Design Capital 2026 program aims to provide answers to this question with a wide range of projects. There will be collaborations with numerous people, initiatives, companies, universities, scientific institutions, and cultural institutions. Together, ideas for a future worth experiencing will be developed – in the region and beyond.
