To mark the 20th anniversary of VIENNA DESIGN WEEK, the MAK is presenting the design festival’s posters from its beginnings to the present day.

With the exhibition curated by Peter Klinger, the MAK pays tribute to the posters created by the designers responsible for the visual identity of the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK, from its beginnings to the present day. Every fall, these posters have played a decisive role in shaping the image and public perception of this – now internationally renowned – initiative founded in 2006 by Lilli Hollein, Tulga Beyerle, and Thomas Geisler. The prints are all gathered now at the MAK’s poster forum to celebrate the anniversary
