From product to object – circular furniture in a new constellation! Due to their perspective on design and sustainability, Benedikt Stonawski and Hauke Unterburg (ante up) have made a name for themselves far beyond the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK. Bildrecht, Austria’s copyright collective for artists, is marking this year’s festival by presenting the design studio’s first solo exhibition: In Bildraum 01, OBJECT-RELATED brings together uncompromising approaches in circular product and furniture design and offers a new design dimension, in which furniture and furnishings are transformed into installations through deconstruction, reproduction, and rearrangement. The works address not only aesthetic aspects but also the origins and processing of the materials, reparability, and their return to the material cycle. Each installation tells a fascinating story about the possibilities and challenges of circular design.
