A multidisciplinary presentation sets the stage for the debut of the sculptural table “Celestial Nature” and tells a story of material transformation and artisanal expertise.

With an immersive installation, the Luxembourg-based gallery Subtile shines a spotlight on the modular sculptural table “Celestial Nature”. Created in collaboration with French designer Valentin Bony, it will be presented to the public for the first time at the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK. The installation creates a dialogue between glass, metal, and ceramics at the Festival Headquarters and connects the materials to their natural resources: sand and soil. Woven willow pieces by Erik Barray and ceramic candleholders with copper and plaster by Marion Delaporte expand the exploration of material transformation to include aspects of craftsmanship.
