Centerpiece is the name given to a specific item in the dinner service that generally has a purely decorative function. After intensely examining this item, the Viennese porcelain manufacturer feinedinge* was inspired to reinterpret existing forms from its archive as new, individual centerpieces and jardinières. It did so by remodeling pieces from the feinedinge* inventory with the help of plastic porcelain before adding elements and reshaping the results into unique new works of art. The elaborately designed planters are being presented publicly for the first time during the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK as part of an opulent floral display.
