Refuges are places of retreat, places where we can feel safe and secure. A mini version of such a refuge is the modular plug-in system from the artisanal designer and joiner Jaskarn Singh Hanspal, which is inspired by calyxes and the exoskeletons of insects: “DYNO” creates a cozy cocoon, in which one can nestle comfortably, seated on velvet and protected to the rear and to the side by oiled oak. The plug-in elements of “DYNO” can be combined in various configurations, allowing the constant creation of new, individually customized settings.
