How can we use our senses to experience what we take from the earth – and what we give back to it? How do regenerative principles nourish our well-being? Lena Beigel and the IDRV – Institute for Design Research Vienna have created EAT AFTER USE, a multisensory experience that raises awareness of the importance of healthy soil. Culinary episodes combine enjoyment with knowledge: Principles of regenerative agriculture are accompanied by experts from practice and research. The focus lies on Lena Beigel’s creative reimagining of table culture, which provides the backdrop for a conversation with market gardener Sarah Schmollmüller – about food, cycles, and the principles of regenerative action.
