Despite the best couples therapy, the relationship between E27 and LED can no longer be saved. Convinced of this fact, Matthias Hempt, founder of HELLER & DIMMER, teamed up with a Viennese lighting engineering office to develop a new basic lighting system: By treating lights and their light sources as one, the system’s scalable constructional principle focuses attention on the quality of the light. HELLER & DIMMER sees itself as a creator and a manufacturing designer of bespoke lights and lighting objects and works with actors from various areas of the applied and fine arts. The Festival Headquarters of the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK is now hosting the first official showcase of the company’s work.
