The Arena is cult! The event location was already a hot topic well before the most recent discussions with neighboring residents. During this exclusive tour, the Arena Wien is opening its doors and baring its soul. The two-hour-long tour will present the architectural history, urban development, and industrial cultural heritage of the former pig abattoir in St. Marx. Participants will be introduced to the earlier and current operating facilities and processes as well as the backstage area. The tour traces the nearly fifty-year history of the cultural association that emerged from a political action involving the city’s most popular concert location.
