Design that money can’t buy? FANTOPLAST, Foundation Three, and Büro Nagano are showcasing stools made from recycled plastic waste and shredded banknotes from the GSA.

Want to finally sit on millions of euros? Now you can. Commissioned by GSA (Geldservice Austria), FANTOPLAST, Foundation Three, and Büro Nagano have developed new designer stools made from discarded banknotes and recycled plastic waste. Each stool contains about € 3,000 – in the form of shredded 100-euro bills. The various colors of the recycled banknotes blend with the transparent plastic waste to form an aesthetically pleasing material, for which the stool is just one of many possible applications.
