Traditional weaving from Egypt meets modern design from Vienna: Nilo Kilim is marking the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK with a showcase in Wirr im Raum that offers insights into the history and techniques of traditional weaving and presents the label’s current carpet collection in the form of a pop-up store. And festival visitors can also come and devise their own carpet. Individually customizable in terms of pattern, color, and size, these are manually produced under fair conditions by the weavers in Fowwa in Egypt.
