bureau fomo, consisting of Hanna Gassner and Christoph Wimmer-Ruelland, is a transdisciplinary curatorial duo that designs spaces and exhibitions and works in the fields of art direction, management, and design research. As part of this year’s VIENNA DESIGN WEEK, bureau fomo presents its first exhibition NEAR, FAR, WHEREVER YOU ARE with a selection of international and Viennese artists and designers. With a focus on visibility and anonymity, public and private places and objects as well as physical and digital presence, an immersive spatial installation and a curated section recreate the home office. Once a temporary fix, now a permanent condition: In the home office, the boundaries between public and private, here and there, labor and leisure blur into a hybrid space.
