For the grand opening of the PILWAX Art Space, the art duo EJTECH will present a mixed-media installation at the Collegium Hungaricum in Vienna.

EJTECH, founded by Judit Eszter Kárpáti and Esteban de la Torre, is an interdisciplinary art duo that works with hyperphysical interfaces, programmable matter, and enhanced textiles. They aim to explore sensory and conceptual relationships between subject and object, as well as to rediscover networks of emergent structures and immanent causality within realistic metamaterialism. Sound, space, light, and time, as material building blocks, are central elements in this process. In their practice, EJTECH analyzes the process by which patterns unfold between technology and the human body. To mark the reopening of the PILWAX Art Space at the Collegium Hungaricum, the art duo is creating a mixed-media installation intended to symbolize the new space in the building’s former coffee area. This multifaceted space, which serves as a showcase for the building, invites experimentation and creates a framework for encounters beyond the familiar. As a place of exchange and artistic exploration, it opens up new perspectives and reveals unexpected connections.
