OekoBusiness Wien and the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK are showcasing three projects that illustrate how sustainable design, strategic thinking, and operational implementation can help prepare businesses for the future.

For several years now, OekoBusiness Wien – the City of Vienna’s environmental service program – and the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK have been connecting companies with design studios to jointly develop sustainably oriented project ideas. OekoBusiness Wien’s Re:Form co-financing program enables designers to contribute their expertise to corporate practice in advisory roles. Notable projects emerging from this initiative will subsequently have the opportunity to present their results as part of the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK, demonstrating how new perspectives and innovative solutions can be developed through sustainable collaboration. On display at the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK 2026 will be collaborations between the interdisciplinary studio for circular architecture and product design, joyjoy studio, and the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, as well as a collaboration between ante up – a company specializing in circular product and furniture design – and the 3D printing startup Pulpstack, and with Glow Up Studios, a Viennese design studio specializing in mid-century-style lamps.
