Pit stop at Wiedner Hauptstraße 52! This year, the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK is opening the impressive workshop premises and showrooms of a former car dealership in Vienna’s 4th district as its Festival Headquarters.
As the heart of one of the most significant curated design events in Europe, the Festival Headquarters plays a key role. In addition to the carefully curated exhibitions, installations, and events that can be experienced here over the course of ten days in the fall, the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK, with its architecturally remarkable interim use, once again creates an opportunity to take a closer look at the special features of Vienna’s urban history and development. Following in the tradition of the “Zur grünen Weintraube” restaurant garden, which gave way to the boldly curved hall of the architectural firm Löschner & Helmer in the 1950s, the venue offers ample space for hospitality – with its festival café and info point, with parties and get-togethers.

As always, admission to the Festival Headquarters is free!
