The comprehensive quarantine measures around the globe that were triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic have prompted us to think about lasting structural changes in the ways we live and work. The time that we have had to unwind and reflect and new ways of remote working and communicating, are leading us to question our notions of commuting, consuming, care and habitation and our previous life/work balance. It's time to move beyond dreaming: let's use this unprecedented opportunity to actually try out new ways of living. In this experiment, Helga Schmid invites visitors to “unlearn” societal time and – over the course of 24 to 48 hours – develop their own Zeitgeber (time-giver). The idea is to start afresh with the thing we call time.
