VIENNA DESIGN WEEK hosts the second edition of the talk series Where is Product Design Education Headed?, organized by OsloMet Product Design. After opening in Oslo with renowned designers active for around 20 years, the Vienna edition shifts focus to the next generation who started out on their own in the last decade and have taken different paths.

Panelists include Kerstin Pfleger (Studio Re.d), Lisa Stolz (founder of MoWo), Sofia Souidi and Steven Dahlinger. Moderated by the initiator of the series, Madeleine K. Wieser, they will discuss the challenges of starting independently, what future designers will need to succeed, and how education can best prepare them for the years ahead.
